मंदिर में एक छोटा सा कुआँ है जिसे ज्ञान वापी (ज्ञान कुआँ) कहा जाता है। ज्ञान वापी मुख्य मंदिर के उत्तर में ही स्थित है और माना जाता है कि आक्रमण के समय ज्योतिर्लिंग की रक्षा के लिए जो मुख्य पुजारी कुएं में छिपे हुए थे। ऐसा कहा जाता है कि मंदिर के मुख्य पुजारी ने ज्योतिर्लिंग को आक्रमणकारियों से शिव लिंग की रक्षा के साथ कुएं में छलांग लगा दी।

छठ व्रत का संबंध सूर्य से भी है। सूर्य को प्राण का कारक और ब्रह्माण्ड में प्रत्यक्ष देवता माना जाता है। इनकी उर्जा से मौसम चक्र चलता है। इसलिए इनकी प्रसन्नता सृष्टि को बनाए रखने के लिए बोहोत जरूरी है। इसलिए छठ पर्व पर सूर्य की पूजा होती है।

कब है छठ पूजा 2023?

इस साल कार्तिक मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की षष्ठी तिथि की शुरुआत 18 नवंबर दिन शनिवार को सुबह 09 बजकर 18 मिनट से हो रही है। इस तिथि का समापन अगले दिन 19 नवंबर दिन रविवार को सुबह 07 बजकर 23 मिनट पर होगा। उदयातिथि के अनुसार छठ पूजा 19 नवंबर को है।

आस्था का सबसे बड़ा महापर्व छठ पूजा नजदीक है। कार्तिक मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की षष्ठी तिथि को छठ पूजा होती है। ये महापर्व चार दिन तक चलता है, जिसमें सूर्यदेव और छठी मैय्या की पूजा की जाती है। इस वर्ष छठ 28 अक्टूबर 2022 से नहाए-खाए के साथ शुरू होगी। वहीं, 29 अक्टूबर 2022 को खरना है। जबकि 30 अक्टूबर को सूर्य को अर्घ्य दिया जाएगा। 31 अक्टूबर को सुबह में उगते सूर्य को अर्घ्य देने के साथ इस महापर्व का समापन हो जाएगा। छठ पूजा में महिलाएं संतान की लंबी आयु, स्वास्थ जीवन और सुख-समृद्धि के लिए 36 घंटे का निर्जला व्रत रखती हैं। आइए जानते हैं छठ पूजा का मुहूर्त, नहाय-खाय, खरना की तारीख, सूर्योदय पूजन मुहूर्त और सूर्यास्त पूजन मुहूर्त कब है

दिवाली के मुख्य त्योहार के एक दिन बाद पड़ने वाला भाई दूज कार्तिक महीने के शुक्ल पक्ष की दद्वितीया तिथि को पड़ता है। पहले से ही ये मान्यता चली आ रही है कि इस दिन बहनें अपने भाइयों के माथे पर तिलक लगाती हैं और भाई उनकी रक्षा का वचन देते हैं।

हिन्दुओं में भाई दूज का त्योहार की बहुत ज्यादा मान्यता है। इसे यम द्वितीया के नाम से भी जाना जाता है और मान्यतानुसार इस दिन भगवान चित्रगुप्त की पूजा भी की जाती है। यह पर्व भाई के प्रति बहन के प्रेम को दर्शाता है और इस दिन बहनें अपने भाई के जीवन की मंगल कामना करती हैं।

इस वर्ष कार्तिक माह में दीपावली के बाद शुक्ल पक्ष की द्वितीया तिथि 14 नवंबर को दोपहर 2 बजकर 36 मिनट से 15 नवंबर को 1 बजकर 47 मिनट तक है. उदया तिथि के अनुसार भाई दूज 14 नवंबर को मनाई जाएगी.
